internship position available Internships are part-time and flexible, approximately 10-15 hours per week (or up to 20 hours a week in the summer time) to be scheduled in advance. Due to the small size of the Japan Society of Boston staff, the intern will be asked to work on multiple projects. No stipends are available.
Basic office and computer skills a plus. Interest in Japan, non-profit organizations, and/or International Affairs preferred.

responsibilities Membership assistance: working closely with the Membership Coordinator, will assist in all facets of the Japan Society's large membership maintenance program to include membership requests, membership renewals, membership list updates, and membership mailings. Program assistance: working closely with the Director of Programs, will assist in preparing for programs and when possible will accompany theDirector to programs assisting with registration and the various aspects of program production. Other: projects as needed by the President; and general office assistance. |
