The Japan Society of Boston's Japanese Language Program is designed to develop your proficiency in communicating in standard Japanese in the shortest time possible. The program will introduce you to the essential grammatical forms and expressions used in daily conversation and standard written materials in contexts in which they are immediately usable. Our native Japanese instructors will also provide the cultural background you need to use the language appropriately. While developing your conversational abilities, you will, from the Beginning Level, learn to read written Japanese. For students with a foundation in Japanese, our advanced classes offer the opportunity to develop greater fluency in speaking as well as to master complicated readings.

·    Class registration is confirmed once payment is received in full.

·  Students continuing from previous terms must pre-register.

·   Payments for handout materials must be paid with the tuition prior to the first day of class. Check or Credit Card payment must be sent to reserve your place in class.

·   Class will be pro-rated if you register after the first class.

·   Registrations after registration deadline will incur a $10 late fee.

·   Classes with fewer than 5 students enrolled may be cancelled with tuition refund.

·   Tuition is non-refundable and non-transferable for any reason after the first class.

·   Fee for handout material is non-refundable.

·   Students are responsible for obtaining their own textbooks prior to the first class. (A list of textbooks will be provided after the registration)

·   Classes cancelled due to holidays, increment weather, or instructor’s illness will be rescheduled at the end of the semester.

·   Unforeseen circumstances occasionally require a change of instructor and/or schedule and/or location.

·   Classes are registered once payment is received in full. 

·   Classes are held if there is at least one student present at the scheduled time. If there is no student present within the first 20 minutes of a class, the class will be automatically cancelled and will not be rescheduled.
