Taiko Artist Eitetsu Hayashi
Eitetsu Hayashi is a Japanese perfoming artist world famous for his ability to play the Japanese Taiko, a traditional art form. Eitetsu began his Taiko career as a founding member of the world-renowned percussion groups Sado-Ondekoza and Kodo, and by 1982 was a celebrated solo performer. Over the past 30 years he has made many contributions to the growth of Taiko music worldwide, and brought a traditional Japanese art form to world stage. Since beginning his solo career he has performed on six continents with the world's top orchestras, collaborated with artists in every musical genre imaginable and received countless honors for his breathtaking performing style.
