Each year, the Japan America Society of Pennsylvania holds Japan in the Schools classroom visits in various area schools.

Here is what just a few schools had to say about the program:

"The demonstration of the Tea Ceremony was a valuable learning experience for my students who are learning about functional ceramic pottery." - Pittsburgh High School for the Creative and Performing Arts

"The children were left talking a lot about what they heard and saw. The content of the presentation and the visual aids were just enough to hold the children's attention." - Homewood Montessori

"The presenters were wonderful and the students enjoyed their activities and visuals. It is so important to connect our cultures." - O'Hara Elementary School

"Every year my class really enjoys this presentation. They especially like seeing the school items." - St. Maurice

"We have been learning about differences and similarities. The presentation was perfect." - St. Thomas More
