Itinerary

Briefings by Japanese and American IT and e-business leaders will explore wireless issues (802.11 wireless LANS, and Bluetooth applications), ubiquitous networks and broadband, unified connectivity, IPv6 ("everything has an address") issues, new opportunities in e-business and m-commerce, and the personal and work-related consequences of the IT economy in Japan, among other topics. American Chamber of Commerce in Japan
Established in 1948, the American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) has grown into Japan's largest, most influential organization representing the interests of international businesses in Japan, with nearly 3,300 individual members representing more than forty countries and 1,600 companies. The ACCJ promotes commerce between the United States and Japan, supports measures to benefit and protect the interests of U.S. companies, and presents a variety of programs that keep Chamber members abreast of current business practices and trends.

BeTrend.Com
A wireless marketing specialist, BeTrend.Com has launched a one-stop e-marketing ASP web site for companies wanting to reach J-Phone and WAP cell phone users but who don't have the ability or technology. Content from the application can be delivered to J-mode, J-Phone, and WAP phones through the company's multidevice handler.

G-mode
