Specially-Priced Air Travel Available

Specially-priced airfares available

Delegates are responsible for their own airfare, however, as our official airline sponsor of the IT Mission, United Airlines has arranged special discounts on published airfares from across the U.S. to Tokyo. A 10% discount will be available on all published economy and business class fare types. If you are able to plan your travel more than 60 days in advance, the discount will be 15%.

To be eligible for these fares, participants must first pay the booking deposit of $300 to the Japan-America Society. Then, you or your travel agent may simply call United Airlines at 1-800-521-4041 and reference tour code 502AQ. We strongly encourage delegate participants to support our sponsor airline.

Delegation Headquarters in Tokyo

ANA Hotel Tokyo area

Delegation participants will stay at the ANA Hotel Tokyo, located near the American Embassy in Minato-ku. Just outside is Kasumigaseki, the seat of the government; Toranomon, home to many embassies and businesses; Akasaka, with its museums, galleries, and clubs; and Roppongi, where Tokyo goes out at night. The ANA is a short walk to Tameike-Sanno Station and the extensive Tokyo subway system.

Delegation Manager

The Delegation Manager for the 2002 Information Technology Mission is William Barnes, who has eight years of business experience in Japan.
