  Visiting Schools and Mayor of Hiroshima City

The Fellows were divided into three groups to visit the following schools in Hiroshima from 8:30 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.

Group A: Hiroshima Gakuin Junior and Senior High School (a private, all-male, integrated junior and senior high school founded on Catholic principles)

Group B: Hiroshima Municipal Commercial High School (offers courses in specialized subjects and is devoted to foster human resources to the information society)

Group C: Hiroshima Municipal Suzugamine Elementary School (holds a peace gathering in which children learn and think about the value of peace)

After the school visits, the group visited Mr. Tadatoshi Akiba, Mayor of Hiroshima City, in his office.
 
 
       
  Keizai Koho Center    
     
  The Keizai Koho Center (Japan Institute for Social and Economic Affairs) is a private, non-profit organization that works in cooperation with Nippon Keidanren (Japan Federation of Economic Organizations) to foster better understanding of the goals and the role of business in a free society.
