The first series in March 2006 featured Hiroaki Ishii, Economic Minister from Embassy of Japan, and Arthur Alexander, Adjunct Professor at Georgetown University. The two speakers traveled to Seattle (WA), Dallas (TX) and Houston (TX), and were joined by a local speaker for luncheons and receptions organized by Japan-America Societies in respective cities.
Outside of main speaking engagements, Minister Ishii and Dr. Alexander visited and spoke at Seattle University and Rice University, and participated in events held at the Japanese Consulate Generals in Seattle and Houston.
