The Council on Economic and Fiscal Policy is comprised of top-level
Japanese Cabinet officials. They meet every two weeks to discus various
important economic issues with the Prime Minister. This site contains
information on their agenda and history, as well as minutes from their
meetings dating back several years.
The U.S.-Japan Business Council is a non-profit business association
comprised of senior executives of major American companies with substantial
business operations in Japan. Member companies represent a cross-section
of U.S. industry, including the automotive and other manufacturing industries,
information technology, finance and other service sectors.
ABW is an excellent collection of links to a wide variety of economic
and trade resources relating to Asia. Of special interest are the links
to directories of Japanese companies with a web presence, and financial
market information providers. Established in 1995, ABW continues to
